My Birthday Present

I got my Kindle Fire HD as a birthday present from my husband. He saw me ooohing and ahhing at the commercial on the television as well as commenting on the various ways it could help me in my day.

I told him all about the Netflix app and how if I got a kindle I wouldn't be monopolizing the desktop any more lol, I also told him I could quit spending big money on printed books when eBooks are a fraction of the cost.

I told him about the Evernote and Dropbox syncing so we can update each others lists for the hardware or the grocery and how our four year old daughter can watch Spongbob with me and leave the TV all for his viewing (between you and me I think this is what prompted him to get it for me lol)

Lastly I told him about the ovulation calender and how we could use it because we are trying for another child and after all of that ....you guessed it he surprised me with it on my birthday. Isn't he just the greatest?

So that's my story, hope I win the Amazon Gift Card, but even if I don't I still enjoy your blog....so keep up the good work :)

Hi Devi, thanks for sharing such a great story about how you got your Kindle Fire. I absolutely love all the positive things you shared about it with your husband and why it would benefit him for you to have one. :)

I bet you've both seen a bunch of other great benefits too now that you've had some time to play with it since you received it as a birthday gift. Oh, and yes, your husband is the greatest for giving you a Kindle Fire for your birthday!
